Scope

The 2014 IEEE Multi-Conference on Systems and Control to be held at the Antibes Congress Centre, Antibes, France, during October 8th to 10th, 2014 includes two International Conferences sponsored and promoted by the IEEE Control Systems Society:

* The IEEE Conference on Control Applications (CCA)

* The IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Control (ISIC)

MSC 2014 provides a unique opportunity for researchers and practitioners from different areas to formulate new challenges, to discuss the state-of-the-art and the future directions in advanced control technology, intelligent systems and computational methods for control systems design. Presentations of theoretical results accompanied by practice related experiments are encouraged. MSC 2014 will feature several kinds of presentations including contributed and invited papers, special sessions, covering a broad range of topics relevant to control applications and methods.

Paper submission/proceedings

Papers submitted to MSC 2014 must be original, not previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere. Submitted papers must not be submitted to any other event or publication during the entire review process. Contributed papers, as well as invited and tutorial session proposals must be submitted electronically via the IEEE CSS conference management system at: http://css.paperplaza.net/. Full papers should be submitted in standard IEEE A4 paper. The regular length for manuscripts is limited to 6 pages. Papers up to 8 pages long may be submitted upon payment of over-length page charges.

Papers representing high quality original research are invited in the following areas:

CCA: Aerospace and automotive systems; Marine systems; Agricultural systems; Mining systems; Biomedical and chemical processes; Biological and pharmaceutical processes; Metal processing; Power systems; Mechanical systems and robotics; Mechatronic systems; Telecommunications; Transportation systems; Mathematical modelling; System identification; Fault diagnosis; Fault tolerant control; Predictive and adaptive control; Discrete event systems; Hybrid systems; Robust control; Vehicular and traffic control; Integrated control and supervision; Fuzzy and neural control, Petri nets; Distributed intelligent networked systems.

ISIC: Autonomous systems; Architecture and software for intelligent control; Computational intelligence methods; Distributed-Information systems; Hybrid intelligent systems; Learning and adaptive systems; Multi-sensor integration and fusion; Networked systems and control; Reconfigurable systems; Soft computing and heuristics.
